Hi All,
I will be in town from Ojai on business (funny business?) Sunday June 8. Not sure if I can make it to Dolores Park. So does anyone know of hooping fun here? If so please invite me! I am usually well-behaved.
Thanks,
Betsy

Re: Hoop Jam in San Jose or Palo Alto?
Tue, May 20, 2008 - 2:33 PMA visiting hooper from my hometown seems like a good reason for a hoop jam! Do you have any preferences on time/town? You name it, and I'll figure out a park and show up with some music and hoops - and hopefully with a half dozen of my (mostly well-behaved) hooping friends...
Perhaps early afternoon in San Jose or Santa Clara? -

Re: Hoop Jam in San Jose or Palo Alto?
Tue, May 20, 2008 - 5:07 PMPetra and I (bellydancers taking Hepzabah's beginning hoopdance class) are talking about gathering a bunch of people to drum and dance at the Homouroboros (The Flying Monkeys) zoetrope in downtown San Jose... sometime...
"Be sure to see this incredible zeotrope at its best ... in full dark ... to appreciate the effects under the strobe lights of what scientists call "the
persistence of vision". And don't forget, this piece will be in Discovery Meadow from May 15th - June 15th, 2008.
Come by during the day, too (we'll have special daytime viewers available).
Bring friends, family, kids, neighbors and co-workers! It's free to the
public. To get a sneak peek, visit:
