It's beautiful weather! Beautiful weather for fire hooping tomorrow night. Beautiful weather for coming out on Sunday afternoon.
Friday, May 15th: THE BAY AREA HOOPERS NON-HOOPING HOOPERS SOCIAL: We had our first non-hooping event for the holidays and the general consensus was let's do it again! We spend a lot of time hooping together, but hooping doesn't always allow us to get know each other that well when we're all off in our own groove, so come on over to my house this time and bring a dish to share with others. If you want an alcoholic beverage it's byob. Where? Philo's House at 432 Haight Street between Fillmore and Webster in the Lower Haight from 6:00 until 7:45pm. The doorbell is broken so write this down: 415.602.7798 in case the front gate gets closed so I can let you in.
Friday, May 15th: FIRE FRIDAY - Let's fire'em up at the AIDS Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park. We'll be fire hooping and glow hooping from 8 until 10pm. If you haven't been to the grove before it can be a little confusing in the dark so just come to the potluck before hand and ride with someone out there. It's located at the intersection of Bowling Green and Middle Drive East - across from the tennis courts - large bolders with the name on it do an okay job of marking the trail down to the grove. Fire hooping is, of course, at your own risk.
Sunday, May 17th: Hayes Green
We're meeting up from 2 to 4 pm on Octavia between Fell and Hayes in San Francisco.
