I talked to the friendly folks at the Ace Ellis Hardware on MLK in Oakland, and they said they would be willing to carry 3/4" 100 psi irrigation tubing and connectors. I told them I was tired of driving out to Dublin's Lowes to get it. I was wondering 1) what else local hoopmakers might like them to supply, and 2) how to get the word out that they are a good place to go locally for hoop supplies. Any ideas?

Re: Local hoop making supplies
Sat, August 1, 2009 - 11:39 PMRecently I discovered the Lowe's in Tanforan(San Bruno) is carrying our tubing too....3/4 160psi and 100psi. Also 1/2 125psi. I was told they had made note of how many people had asked for this and finally found a way around the restrictive codes. Only bad thing is that it seems about $5.00 or so more than I was paying at the Vacaville Lowes so it's about a wash-time and gas saved surely. -
